These terms are an agreement between you and the operators of TrueChain (“TrueChain”, “we”, “us”). [Operating legal entity and registered address to be added upon incorporation.] By connecting a wallet, minting a record, submitting a verified-issuer application, or otherwise using the site or its APIs, you accept these terms. If you are using TrueChain on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
TrueChain currently operates only on the Solana Devnet test network. It is provided for evaluation, “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Features, pricing, data and availability may change or be discontinued at any time without notice, and test data may be reset. Do not rely on TrueChain for anything of real-world consequence during beta, and do not upload sensitive or irreplaceable documents.
TrueChain records a cryptographic hash of a file on-chain, together with the wallet that registered it and (for verified issuers) a signature proving control of that wallet. This lets anyone later confirm that a file has not changed since it was registered and which wallet registered it.
TrueChain does not verify, and makes no representation about: the truthfulness, accuracy, legality, or authenticity of any document’s contents; the real-world identity of any person or organisation behind a wallet; whether a document was issued with proper authority; or whether a verified-issuer applicant is who they claim to be. Inclusion on the verified-issuer whitelist is an operational convenience, not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee of any issuer, and it may be revoked at any time.
You must not use TrueChain to: register or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, infringing, defamatory, or that impersonates another person or organisation; misrepresent the origin or authority of a document; launder value or evade sanctions; interfere with, overload, probe, or attempt to bypass the verification, rate-limiting, issuer-whitelist, or payment mechanisms; or scrape, resell, or build a competing service from the site or its data other than as permitted for ordinary verification.
Minting requires an on-chain payment in SOL or USDC to the TrueChain treasury wallet, plus network fees you pay directly to the blockchain. Prices are quoted using third-party oracle feeds and may move between quote and confirmation. On-chain payments are final and non-refundable. If a mint fails after payment for a reason within our control, contact us and we will make a reasonable effort to resolve it, but we do not guarantee a refund.
$EDC is a fixed-supply utility token referenced by the protocol. It is not a payment method on TrueChain, not a security, and not an investment. Its role is still being defined. Nothing on TrueChain is financial, investment, or tax advice. Not financial advice — do your own research.
TrueChain depends on services we do not control, including the Solana network and its RPC providers, IPFS pinning and gateway providers, price-oracle networks, bot-protection (Google reCAPTCHA), and your wallet provider. Outages, changes, bugs, forks, or data loss in any of these can disrupt or corrupt the service, and we are not responsible for them. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The TrueChain name, site, design, code, and documentation are owned by TrueChain and protected by law. These terms grant you no licence to them beyond using the service as intended. Content you register remains yours; by using the Public tier you grant the permissions technically necessary to publish it to IPFS and the blockchain, where it will remain publicly accessible indefinitely.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueChain and its operators, contributors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or assets, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service — including losses from: reliance on unverified or false document contents; a forged, mistaken, or revoked verified-issuer record; transaction or wallet-address errors; blockchain or network failure, congestion, or fork; smart-contract or protocol bugs; loss of private keys; third-party service failure; or interruption or discontinuation of the service.
To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid to TrueChain in the three months before the claim, or USD 100.
You will indemnify and hold harmless TrueChain and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date, and continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access, or remove a wallet from the verified-issuer whitelist, at any time — particularly for suspected abuse. On-chain records already created cannot be removed by us.

This notice explains what information TrueChain handles and how. Because TrueChain writes to public blockchains and public decentralised storage, some data you submit becomes permanent and public and cannot be deleted by anyone, including us. Please read section 2.3 before minting.
We do not ask for names of individuals, government IDs, payment-card details, or passwords, and you should not send them to us.
To operate and secure the service; to review and administer verified-issuer applications and to contact applicants about their application; to detect and prevent abuse, fraud and attacks; and to comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
Anything written to Solana or to IPFS — document hashes, mint and transaction records, wallet addresses involved, supply-chain custody entries, and (for the Public tier) the file and its metadata — is public, worldwide, and effectively permanent. It cannot be edited or removed by you or by us. Choose Hash-Only or Private if you need the file itself to stay off public storage.
The Solana network and its RPC providers; IPFS pinning and gateway providers; the price-oracle network; Google reCAPTCHA; and your wallet provider. Each operates under its own privacy policy. Wallet addresses and on-chain data are inherently visible to the entire network.
Verified-issuer application records (including rejected and revoked ones) are retained for programme administration and audit. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security. On-chain and IPFS data is permanent by design and outside our control.
TrueChain is not directed to, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.
TrueChain and its suppliers may process data in multiple jurisdictions. By using the service you accept that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
Updates to this notice are reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
